The brand new album, Idiot Heart, comes out this Tuesday, January 31st. It will be available in digital and physical form on the “music” page, and you’ll be able to pay what you please for either.

Thanks to Paul Simon & his people for inviting me to open shows in Newark, NJ and Richmond, VA this week. They were excellent in every way. Thanks also to the concert-goers for buying over 450 CDs!

CD Release Tour, pre-release copies available

I just posted the Idiot Heart release tour dates! They are up at www.carsieblanton.com/shows. Because the album doesn’t come out until post-holidays, I’m offering a special deal: If you buy six (or more) tickets to any of the release shows, I will send you one signed, pre-release copy of Idiot Heart.

Here’s how to do it:

Buy your tickets online, in one big bunch.
After you buy them, send me an email with your “receipt”, along with your mailing address and any special signing instructions.
The sooner you send the email, the sooner I send the CDs. Tickets are on sale now!
