I’m not gonna get out of bed today

I’ve got my reasons I don’t have to say

if anybody comes to call you can tell em I said

that I’m not gonna get out of bed

ain’t got no money, I ain’t even tryin

you say it’s sunny but I know you’re lyin

everybody says life is short but it seems to me

every hour I’m awake is an eternity

so I’m not gonna get out of bed today

I’ve tried to do it but what can I say

isn’t anything that you did, or something you said

it’s that I’m not gonna get out of bed
